Global Talent Acquisition is indeed a Thing. In fact, with the right strategy and tools for sourcing, assessment, and candidate engagement, global recruitment teams can virtually “follow the sun”, accelerating the speed and quality of hiring. This is the vision we help our PeopleResults clients realize and now there is a professional association to help drive it forward as well: ATAP, the Association of Talent Acquisition Professionals. In my opinion, it’s about time for a organization that recognizes the globality of the TA profession, providing a virtual “place” to network, build skills, establish standards, and embrace ethics.
