Kathy Eckert
Kathy is an accomplished human resources professional who partners with clients to create talent strategies and solutions in alignment with business goals. Kathy brings more than 20 years of experience from Accenture where she was a change management consultant and held a number of national and global human resources leadership roles. Kathy leverages a broad perspective of integrated talent management and expertise in talent strategy development, competency definition and management, and end-to-end HR program design and implementation. She is known for her versatility and ability to work collaboratively with leadership and HR teams to address talent challenges and is passionate about helping organizations and individuals be more effective.
Kathy spent over a decade of her Accenture career involved with all facets of competency definition and management. She made significant contributions towards building an integrated, enterprise-wide skills infrastructure including defining global competency-related processes, designing Accenture’s competency model and skills planning and tracking approach, and developing and executing processes to maintain global skills inventories. During her tenure, she developed core Management Consulting skills and designed and implemented skills assessments for the Management Consulting practice. Over time, she became the key ‘go to’ person at Accenture for anything relating to skills/competencies. Kathy also has experience defining and integrating other types of talent structures including roles and career paths.
Kathy holds a masters degree in Education from the University of Colorado and an undergraduate degree in Business from Bucknell University. She is an accomplished off-road triathlete and endurance mountain bike racer and enjoys telemark and skate skiing.
