Change & Communications Program with High Customer Impact
This global retail leader restructured their organization to improve the connection with customers and franchisees. They needed a communications strategy, plan & the messaging to help employees understand why the change was critical to future success.
Course of Action:
- We created a Leader Toolkit with support tools to equip leaders for delivering the right messages about the change.
- We implemented a collaboration tool to engage employees and drive two-way communications and feedback. This innovative tool served as a critical channel to disseminate messages, videos, commercials, and “online coffees”. This tool also gave employees a way to connect with and support each other through the change.
- We led “Role University”, a gathering of company leaders to share final details on the new structure and roles, along with a Playbook to help leaders support the change.
The implementation of the organizational changes caused minimal disruption to the business because leaders were informed & engaged early and understood the individual impact long before all-employee communications.
