Millennial Transition from Campus to Career
This global technology leader expected higher retention for their campus hires. The goal was to better prepare these top graduates for how to transition from campus life to the professional environment.
Course of Action:
We worked with this client to relook at how college graduates were on-boarded into their organization and determined needed changes. We:
- Built the content for the program.
- Created short, engaging videos sent to new hires weeks before their initial start date, which covered topics such as, Personal Branding, Building relationships through Emotional Intelligence, Networking, and how to Build Credibility. These videos went viral and were shared extensively internally and externally.
- Developed content to assist the new hires in developing the professional behaviors expected in their work environment.
- Created the communication for both the new graduates and their managers to follow up and support the videos.
The client experienced improved retention results for new campus hires.
