Organizational Transition Requires Global Leadership Capability
A global healthcare organization committed to realigning their business in China around core products and services. This required the transition of large-scale lab projects to other international locations, clear and transparent communication with staff, leadership transitions, and capability development for an interim leadership team.
Course of Action:
We analyzed the organization’s change readiness and developed a plan, timeline, and materials, including:
- Identified a strategy & actions for sequencing, engagement needs, dependencies, and risk factors
- Developed a strategic communication plan, key messages, and content for multiple global audiences
- Provided program management to ensure seamless and effective communication and execution
- Designed and conducted leadership alignment workshop with Chinese leaders to build collaborative communication and problem-solving skills
This resulted in a successful organizational and leadership transition with minimal business impact. Existing and new leaders were prepared to communicate effectively and transparently and, as a result, meet increased performance expectations.
